Analysis of homepage for 2 E-commerce websites: including comparisons and features improvement

To make it more visual I would like to compare two websites to give you more visual explanation of the previous post. The companies I am going to look into are two outdoor selling goods: Cotswold Outdoor and Blacks. I will focus on the header, main body, footer and looking for the product.

Both sites are very similarly designed. First visible thing that you can see is the SALE picture and clickable categories such as brands, activities or types of clothes.

They have logos on the top. Cotswold has it next to the search bar, whereas Blacks has everything in one line. Both have Menu bars but Cotswold has 15 categories right under the search bar.
On the right top side there are things like store finder, log in, cart, Wishlist.

Both have nicely designed footer with all the necessary information such as ways to pay, customer service, Q&A.

I don't think there is something that I would change in any of this websites. Although in Cotswold site I really like that on the main page there are very useful, inspirational information.

Overall both sites are design in clear, easy to navigate way. Viewer can easily find what he was looking for and more.
