Types of E-Commerce


 


There are few different types of E-commerce:

  • Business to Consumers (B2C)
Tesco is a good example of this type of E- commerce. Consumers can do the shopping on line and have the goods delivered to their home. 

  • Business to business (B2B)
This a type of an E-commerce where a companies producing goods on a large scale. A good example is a pluming company FergusonIt is one of the largest B2B companies providing plumbing and building products to its clients. Headquartered in Virginia, US, Ferguson believes in content marketing.

  • Consumer to Consumer (C2C)
An example of this type is a Facebook where goods that are no longer needed by an individual. are advertised and sold.


  • Government to customer (G2C) 
This is an official business transactions between government and citizens. It can be a city council where customers can pay their taxes, parking tickets or deal with other official matters.

  • m commerce
This is a type of commerce that is set only using internet for example through applications. This type of businesses are getting more popular. There are physical building of the company. Everything is run online. One of them is Vinted which is a shop 'open to everyone who believes that good clothes should live long.'
