Programming Languages definition

Programming is getting more and more popular. There are different languages suitable for the developers to work with in order to create the best possible product. We are going to get a little familiar with some of them.

HTML, or Hypertext Markup Language, is a language that defines the structure of web pages. It is one of the most basic building blocks of every website, so it's crucial to learn if you want to have a career in web development. HTML determines the structure of web pages. This structure alone is not enough to make a web page look good and interactive. So you'll use assisted technologies such as CSS and JavaScript to make your HTML beautiful and add interactivity, respectively. In this case, I like to break down the three technologies – HTML, CSS, and JavaScript – this way: they are like a human body. HTML is the skeleton, CSS is the skin and JavaScript is the circulatory, digestive, and respiratory systems that brings the structure and the skin to life. (Chris Kolade, 2021)
HTML is the language used to tell the browser to how to format the pieces and parts ode a web page.

CSS stands for "Cascading Style Sheet." Cascading style sheets are used to format the layout of web pages. It's a simple language which is all about presentation. It's like an interior design of the page.

Javascript is used to make the web page more interactive and to give it a special effects. By doing so it's more attractive to the viewer and gets it's attention.
Python in recent years has become a very popular programming language. It's used in everything from machine learning to build websites and software, automate tasks, and conduct data analysis. Python is a general-purpose language, meaning it can be used to create a variety of different programs and isn’t specialized for any specific problems. This versatility, along with its beginner-friendliness, has made it one of the most-used programming languages today.
Ruby is a language of careful balance. Its creator, Yukihiro "Matz" Matsumoto, blended parts of his favourite languages (Perl, Smalltalk, Eiffel, Ada, and Lisp) to form a new language that balanced functional programming with imperative programming. According to Chris Pine Ruby is a good choice for a first programming language. (Pine, 2021)
